All About the Maltapoo
The Maltapoo is a hybrid cross of Poodle and Maltese
They can weigh anywhere from 5 to 20 lbs .The most common being 8 to 14 .
Colors are all types from White which is most common to parti to tri .Blak /white,
red/white, red ,cream ,black and all in between .
Life span ...is about the same as a poodle ,14 to 18 years if correct upkeep ,food and health issues are wisely taken care of .
Height ...can be from small 8 inches to as tall as 14 ..
Coats ..the coat of a maltapoo is generally a curl ,much like the Bichon coat the hair tends to bush out .A few , percentage wise can have a more straight coat ,but most have the soft curl when adult .
Names given to the Maltapoo aka Maltipoo aka Maltepoo aka Malti-poo aka Malt-i-poo aka Malt-a-poo .All are the same crossbreed .
Maltapoos are considered a non shedding dog ..which means Low shedding ,all dogs shed to a degree .When you brush a maltipoo you will find hair in the brush . However they do not shed their coats as some dogs do .This type dog ,the maltapoo is said to be good for those with allergies .However ,you as an individual may be allergic to the salavia of a dog and not to the dander as some are .It is always best to make sure before you purchase if this dog is right for you .
